I don't usually put portraiture up here, but here's one that I want to share.

This was done for an interview released today with longtime East Village punk rock musician, artist, and producer Paul Kostabi.  It's a fascinating story, so take a few minutes and read it through.

If ever I get a surreal feeling in New York, it's when I look into the stark and empty windows of the dime-a-dozen glass walled banks.

I think this is a good complementary image to this recent photograph.

If you've been following for awhile you no doubt know that I have somewhat of an obsession with advertisements and their effects on people.

It's gotten pretty uncanny in certain situations.  If I stand by certain ads I've noticed that I can often tell who's going to look and who's going to stop for it.  It's actually fairly obvious of the type of people that will stop when you see a luxurious gold hand in a window that looks like it's doing a 'come here' motion.

This reminds me of zombies in a certain way.

You ever notice how couples tend to look alike?  It's one of my favorite things to notice.  I find that it's mostly in the jaw structure, but then over time as couples start to dress and act similarly, it's pretty amazing.
