Cindy Sherman, Untitled Film Stills #21
The Cindy Sherman self portrait is one of the first photographs I can remember. Always been a favorite.
I was fortunate enough to have an utterly fascinating interview with Eric Danville for evgrieve. Eric's a writer and managing editor who has worked for High Times, Screw Magazine (where he worked closely with and ghostwrote for the infamous NY pornographer Al Goldstein) and Penthouse forum. He also developed a close friendship with Linda Lovelace, the former porn star of Deep Throat, and wrote The Complete Linda Lovelace.
To say he has a fascinating life story is a severe understatement.

Read Part 2: About the demise of Screw and troubles of Al Goldstein, what working with pornstars is like, working for Penthouse, and his relationship with Linda Lovelance.

Don't get me wrong, I very much enjoy tourists in New York. But sometimes, when it gets very crowded, I feel like I'm in a zombie movie surrounded by Hollister and Quiksilver with no way to get out.
