One of my favorite favorite things to do is to photograph people shopping on 5th Avenue during midday on a random, non-holiday Monday or Tuesday.  You catch people who seem to have nothing better to do than shop on these days and they get dressed up in extravagant and flashy outfits to do so.

I saw this lady walking to hail a cab on her cellphone.  Her hot pink outfit was not something that should be reserved for 1:00 on a Monday afternoon.  She was oblivious to the world around her, despite the fact that everyone was staring at her outfit.

Every single person that passed her had the same confused reaction as this guy.
