Empire State Building,
New York City, 2006
I tried to focus on the textures of the old midtown buildings in the foreground as much as I did on the Empire State Building itself, to help give this photo a feeling of the past.
While the building is still awe-inspiring today, this feeling must have been so much stronger when it was completed in the early 30's.
