Taken from the town of Oia.
You can see the lagoon here that is surrounded by the crescent shaped island of Santorini, which holds the top of a volcano.
Because of this volcano, there are large pools of heated sulfuric water that are believed to hold healing powers. People venture from all around Greece and other countries to try out these healing waters.
One of my favorite aspects of the Santorini architecture are the plentiful Greek Orthodox churches, with their blue domes and elaborate bells.
